Meat Pies
Ingredients
- 16 oz meat (chicken breast or ground beef)
- 2 cups Gravy (chicken or beef)
- 1 cup Onion, diced (optional)
- 4 servings Mashed potatoes
- 1 box Pastry sheets (2 sheets)
- 1 cup Cheddar, shredded
Instructions
- Take out frozen pastry sheets to thaw.
- Prepare chicken or beef as desired (with diced onion if desired).
- Preheat oven to 400℉.
- Mix gravy and meat.
- Cut 5" diameter circle from thawed pastry dough and roll out to 6". Repeat 8 times.
- Place pastry circles in the cups of a large muffin tray.
- Put ⅛ of the meat/gravy mixture in each cup, top with ⅛ of the mashed potatoes, and sprinkle ⅛ of the cheese on top.
- Bake 20 minutes or until pastry is cooked.

Serving size is 2 pies.
